My COPR has an error with the Birth Place. My passport as a correction for this and has been recorded on "Observation" page (this is a normal passport page where Passport issuing officer notes down the corrections) but CIC people didnt pay attention and recorded the in-correct information from the Bio page.
Does anyone know if my COPR can be corrected upon landing? I stay in USA and I have plans to travel to Canada mid March for a soft landing. I email CIC as per the instructions on COPR but no response.
If anyone knows any forum or have similar experience, it will be a great help!

the only valid name is on the cover of the passport that have to match with the CoPR, so you should write them because now a day no corrections are valid anymore on passport since 2015, and file for amend later is due to an error of CIC, so in your case what name in your application is?

While applying my PR I mentioned the corrected birth place name from the observation page. However, on COPR the birth place name is same as what is mentioned on the passport cover. (Not the one which is mentioned on the observation page)
I landed last week and asked for correction. The officer did correct his online record but not in my copr. That I need to correct later as an amend. But the good news is my PR card will have correct information in record.
Thank you again for guiding me when I was clueless.
