Hello,
My wife is Canadian citizen and we applied around 1 year ago to sponsor me so we can finally relocate to Canada together. We got the COPR, visa on the passport, and we booked the flight recently, however while reviewing the COPR details, we have noticed that there's an error in the passport expiry date.
Drilling down further we have found out that we have submitted the wrong passport expiry date in the original application !
We booked the flight already and should be there in couple of weeks - before the COPR validity expires.
What should we do in this case? Is it really so bad?
What can be done?

just land, when you land the visa automatically expire, so you don't need it any more,,, you will receive you pr Card in 60 days, with a 5 year period.
When is your flight to Canada ?
When is the expiry date of your passport?
If your flight will be on before the expiry date of your passport well then that's okay, but if your passport is already expired before the flight date then that's a big problem . You can't fly if your passport is expired . You need to renew your passport and then explain to the visa office that you need the visa stamp.
I am also in a similar situation...we are a family of three who have applied for PR in Canada. We received our stamped passports and copr's yesterday (19/05/2021). But in one copr the passport expiry date is not correct. All other information is correct. Don't know what to do....

Thanks for your help, it's verymuch appreciated. I have reached out to VAC via mail and have already raised web form. Waiting for response from their end.
