Finally Successful!!! I solved the issue by downloading the form IMM5257 (06-2019) E from this address: https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5257e.pdf?
**(note that the question mark should be at the end of the URL to download the (06-2019) version if not it will download the (11-2018) version)**
After filling in the latest version of the form (06-2019). I was able to upload the form successfully.
The (11-2018) version of the form will end up with document version error.

I waste almost two days to just upload an online form. Wasn't paper application faster than online for me?

Provided link downloads version - (02-2019) and It worked successfully for me. Thank you. (Form 11-2018 throws version error)

The form has been updated to the latest version
You need to download the latest version of the form and re-create it.

Hi, just to share the experience..

I wanted to upload IMM 1295 which is for open work permit.

While other forms uploaded properly, 1295 faced following error:

Error Description: The version of the document submitted is no longer accepted

Finally I filled the form in Windows 10 and Adobe Acrobat 2019 easily and it was solved.

Hi, I found a *Fix* for the issue. Re-download the form (DO NOT Change the name of the form after download). Don't select the "Signature Panel" at the top. and try to fill in the new form and upload. Worked perfectly for me.
