i am trying to upload (imm 5257b_1) form for my study permit application, and i am using the latest form (02-2018) but the below error showing tried everything i could, even i report to technical but no response till now.

I used the 10-2017 version when I applied. I didn't have this problem.
Yes, report this technical issue so that they can fix this asap.
In the mean time, you might want to consider submitting a paper based application instead. Or maybe scan and upload the document like what others did.
scan copies are not accepting for online application.

The processing time of paper-based and online application is about the same. We cannot tell which is faster. I saw some people here, who applied by paper, got approved faster than those who applied online. The processing time will depend on which country you are applying from, how many applications received by the visa office, and will also depend on the completeness of your documents.
Hey...don't worry...after doing a lot of research in the forum...i scanned and uploaded it in client information section...
Some got for biometric request...and some even got visa...
Hi... can anyone help me please I need the IMM5257B_1 form, I have tried to download it but it keeps coming up with an error message. I need a copy to download so I can fill it in and upload it. Does anyone have a copy of this form? Canada.ca link does not work at all, and I have the latest version of Adobe.

Hello. I just finished my application visitoir visa and paid fee.But since they not have separatre upload for Uniuversity document and semseter confirmation, I forgot to upload under optinal docuemnts since I was 4 hours on computer.What can I do? Hey guys, I kept receiving the following error message when attempting to upload the study permit form: "Error: We couldn't upload your file. Error Description: Make sure you are using the latest application form from our website.". I was sure I was using the latest version of the form because I downloaded it from the website that day so I knew that was not the issue.
After many, many failed attempts at uploading it (using different browsers, computers, PDF readers...), I finally managed to upload it using the following:
A PC (Mac did not work for me),
the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader version downloaded
using INTERNET EXPLORER - this is key. Internet Edge did not work (neither did Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
Using the above, you will be able to properly open the form on the browser (rather than using the "download link as..." as suggested on forums discussing errors with downloading the form in the first place), then you can fill it in there, validate, then save to the computer. It will save as a PDF but you will not be able to open it on the laptop itself - it will actually be an online PDF, which will open using the internet browser only, but that is ok! Upload this onto the site and it will work!
