Just got the granted but not printed update. Do you think I will get the passports in hand before Friday? I am travelling on Monday (13th) Thank you

Its taking 3 working days for delivery after printed. So possible if you get the printed update today. Could save a day by arranging pickup once passport is with BLS.

Any updates on postal applications? No action is making me think if they even will process it or not. This is highly unprofessional. Please keep posting any updates. Thank you!

This is what information I read. Yes you can.
However, from the above link it seems its only for emergency purposes and visa will only be issued for 3 months.
BLS keeps changing their opinion depending on who you speak to. When I called them to check before I read Sapru's post, they said yes you can apply for entry visa with proof of SC application. But he never mentioned anything about emergency or 3 months only validity. Can someone please confirm this?

I submitted entry visa and SC application at the same time. I had 3 months for my visa application. Bls toronto crossed it off and put in 6 months herself without me asking. I had to redo the form anyway, which they filled it out and charged me.

Do you have the template?

I did same name affidavit for which they required stamp/seal from a lawyer. Got that done while they were filling out my application.

@hp2023 - thank you sharing this! I’m planning to apply for SC and entry visa on Monday. How was your experience - did you have to explain or convince them to process both SC and Entry visa at the same time or they just comply with your ask?

I sent the postal application on nov 1, delivered on nov 2 and today i got automated reply from
BLS that application has been received.

Mine was dropped at BLS on 1st and then today status changed as received. But no email. Its written another 4-5 days to send to CGI.... PHEWWWWW
