An update on my saga. Went to BLS today during their 3pm time with new application, hoping they will take it. Instead I was advised that because the mistake was on the application, entire application package will be mailed back to me, which could take 2 weeks or more because they are so backlogged, another option given was I sign a form to withdraw the entire application, they will find it within 48-72 hours and express it back to me, then I can go in person, stand in line from 5am because sending it my post there will be delays........They can find the application in 48-72 hours to send it back, but they won't replace the application with the new one and send it for processing ??? I had no choice but to fill out the withdrawal form to get it all back "hopefully" by the end of this week and then I will have to stand in line.
Making matters worse, when applying in person for a minor both parents have to be there, I am divorced and their father lives in Montreal, so I have to get him to come here.......this is beyond ridiculous.
Going to India after 12 years, now wondering if it's worth it. Have been stressed over this for 2 months. Have even applied for OCI for all 3 of us before they opened the entry visa.
Thanks for sharing the update. Can you tell me how long you had to wait for the 3pm enquiry time? 2 weeks to return an incorrect application is too long.. considering they have the passports
Did you apply for six months entry or a year?
So I applied for 1 month in June (thinking I'll come back and apply OCI). Went to India and came back, smooth process.
When there were rumours of ban, I applied on 21st sep for 5 years, which was stuck. Today I'm unable to check in advanced status since that is generic without application number (shows my previous visa granted). The regular check status which asks application and passport number, still has nothing.

Where are you checking this? The regular 'Check Visa' or 'Advanced search for e-visa only'

Alright, I applied on 21 sep. Hopefully mine should be processed soon as well.
Thanks for replying

I guess you are right. Since I have 2 applications in system (one approved in June), the advanced doesn't work for me since it only asks for passport. I guess once the latest application is approved, it will show the latest result.
Who else is going in today for withdrawal lets meet at bls Brampton if anyone going
My previous one is granted now but I have already applied again :/
No way to withdraw this? I guess money for this also gone :/

It takes about 48 hours is what I heard. If you don't have urgent travel, why not just wait for normal entry visa to process.

Hey final question...was yours a 1 year or 5 year visa? I had applied for 5. Hearing that evisa is only open for 1 year.
