Any luck for postal applications reached on Nov 1? My travel date is approaching and no action is creating panic.

Keeping fingers crossed. Thank you. BLS is non responsive on any other mode, except in person. I have called, emailed and post query on website., but no response. Hoping they take some action today atleast. Thank you!

I applied for my entry visa on 8th November (BLS Brampton walk-in). The status on the website says "Under Processing". Does anyone know when I can expect to receive my visa? I already sent an email to the consulate but haven't received a response.

Same here.

try using some other option same used to happen for me whenever I select option for Visa it get's disconnected. So i selected option for Surrender certificate and I was able to connect through.

Friend applied on 10-Nov @ BLS Surrey and still the status is "Under Process In Transit from BLS Centre to Consulat General" . Is this normal?
cgivancouver was chased away In Abbotsford. Will all this incident impact OCI, Entry visa processing in Vancouver jurisdiction?

Update today - Vancouver jurisdiction
Mail-in application delivered Oct 30
Application acknowledged Nov 9 (received email from BLS)
Granted but not printed Nov 14 (status on Indian visa online)

Interestingly the BLS tracking says it is still on the way to CGI.

I still haven't received my originals ( Canadian passport and Canadian citizenship certificate) from BLS Brampton.

Can i apply for Entry visa as they already have my originals?


My tickets are booked for Dec 8 ,2023

You can apply for entry visa. You need to get back your originals from CGI Toronto and then can apply for entry Visa. Call them and email too for returning your originals. I faced similar situation last week.

As you did postal application for OCI guessing you would do the same for Entry visa, how will you communicate the same with BLS?
They are least efficient to handle such scenario. Better do it in person.

Finally visa site status changed to under processing after 8 days. Ottawa applications are moving very slow
