Entering Canada without COPR

Hi All,

I have received COPR but I want to know that Can I enter Canada from airport without doing landing (COPR) that is entering canada on the basis of valid Work permit and work VISA?

Please help.

Once you have COPR, that's means your pr application has been approved so all your work or study permit will no longer valid.

Yes, you can delay your landing and enter as a worker.

That is not true. Any previous temporary permit became invalid only after completion landing procedure. Until someone validates his/her PR status (landing) the previous status is maintained.

Thank you all for reply.

I called CIC call center and got to know that I can enter Canada without doing landing.

Though my PR application is approved, yet I am Not PR until I do landing so my work permit and visa are still valid !

@jaishreekrishna: how did it go with you? were you able to land based on worker visa and delay your landing?
