Enter USA after Stamping - No valid US Visa , But valid Petition till 2017

Hi ,

I donot have valid H1B Visa stamping (expired in 2014) in passport . But i have valid H1B Extended petition from USCIS with I94 valid till May 2017 .

Inorder to come back to USA from Canada , do i need to go for H1B Stamping or i can enter USA with valid petition itself through Air .

Valid extended petition doesn't help much, when you go through borders & customs your fate will be decided there. That's where stamping is done. Try to land in small city. wait for seniors, i am just telling you based on some of my friends experiences. moreover, wrong thread lol
