I have question regarding sponsorship family class program
My wife is Canadian citizen and we live separately due to situation in my country Syria I'm in UAE in visit visa and she is in Qatar in student visa
we want to apply for sponsorship spouse "family class" program and move both of us to Canada.
My question consists of two parts
First: regarding for financial situation,My wife doesn't work and I'm working as freelancer with company for more than a year and I get paid monthly, (I can work with my company on remote place) What is documents and forms required to prove that I will be responsible for all living expenses
Second: My wife are going to Canada next week for 10 days what is best and fast way to apply inside or outside of Canada and also what is processing centers should she applied at.
There is no financial requirements to sponsor a spouse so as long as she hasn't been on welfare, and she can prove that she will return to canada when the application is approved she should still be able to be approved as a sponsor to you. You can write a letter if you want saying your plans for being the primary breadwinner, but they will be more concerned with the genuinity of your relationship than anything else. And regardless of what your plans are, you will both have to sign the undertaking that states that your wife will be financially responsible for you for the first three years.
If you are from Syria, your processing centre will be in Amman, Jordan if you apply Outland. The posted processing time for that office is 23 months. Unless you both are going back to canada and you have a workers visa or something you will have no choice but to apply Outland. If she isn't living inside canada then you have to prove that she will move back. For this you can use job offers, property ownership, moving plans. It can be a little difficult because the processing time is so long. It's your choice what you want to do. I would say it is easier if she is living in canada but it is possible to do it successfully both ways.
