I am asking my previous employer to draft an employment reference letter for me to claim the foreign work experience. I have a question about the reference letter.
I worked at the previous company for over 6 years as IT person. first 2 years title was a network technician (NOC B class), second 2 years was a network designer (NOC B class), and last 2 years and 3 months was a manager of the team (NOC 0 class).
What I do on the reference letter are:
1. list 3 positions with its salary
2. state the salary for each position
3. state the period position duration (2+2+2.3)
In this case, will CIC give me 6 years+ credit?
And what NOC code I shall claim on my previous work experience (B or 0)?
For CRS purposes you can only claim up to 3 years of foreign work experience.
For eligibility purposes you can claim up to 6 years of work experience but only in your primary NOC.
Up to you which NOC you want to choose.
Your reference letter should also include the duties/responsibilities of each position.

Thanks for your quick response! I already have the ITA, currently is filling all the forms. I would like to claim 6 years experience so I can have high points in FSW.
I have another question. in the foreign work experience, shall I brake the previous one company job experience into 3 different positions, like that:
1. Company ABC, role network engineer, duties xxx, duration 2 years (NOC B 2XXX)
2. Company ABC, role network designer, duties xxx, duration 2 years (NOC B 2XXX)
3. Company ABC, role manager, duties xxx, duration 2 years 3 months (NOC 0 0XXX)
or I can simply fill all 3 positions in
Company ABC, role manager, duties xxx, duration 6 years 3 months (NOC 0 0XXX)
You're using different NOC's so you should have different entries for each NOC - you can upload the same reference letter for each placeholder in the document checklist.
