Employer's name on Open Work Permit

Hi,

I have an open work permit and currently working for a company in Montreal. For getting RAMQ card I need employer's name on my permit.

Does anybody know what is the process for getting employer's name on open work permit?

You can't - that is the whole point of an open permit. If an employer was listed, it would be a closed permit.

Also, is there any way to convert my open work permit to a closed one?

No idea about the Quebec system sorry!

To gain a closed permit, your employer would need to sponsor you which is a fairly lengthy process (they need to advertise your role etc). If you are on an open permit, I would keep it that way.
