Hi,

I had applied for canadian permanent resident visa from India and after going though all the formalities the New Delhi Canadian Embassy has asked for my passport and i am supposed to send it by 45 days.I have a pre-scheduled vacation plan abroad and I want to send the passport after I am back which is going to exceed their time limit. Is there a chance that my application could be rejected for that? I have sent them several emails but no reply yet. Please advise.

It is better to postpone your vacation plan for going abroad if it is not that important. Else you have to provide them a with written explanation that why can't you submit the passport in the due time.

Normally, if an applicant do not response in due time. They can reject/refuse the case based on the reason that applicant is not interested in proceeding with the applications.

If they are not replying back to your emails. Fax them, or call them and tell them your situation. If Possible you can also sent them the itinerary of your vacation plan. Good Luck

Hi Cdutta22
Agreed with adzees

You should postpone the vacation trip and send in your passport in order to secure PR visa first.
Otherwise the VO could find it hard to believe you genuinely wish to immigrate to Canada.

Good luck

hello cdutta22,

I agree with the 2 members who responded u before me.
u hav to postpone ur vacation sched and send ur passport to the embassy as ur asked.
