You don't always get a response. If you send updated documents, they sometimes update your file but down
acknowledge receipt of files etc. If you hear back than usually after 20-30 days.

It also depends on what inquires you have asked. When I emailed them re RCMP, they responded next day and confirmed that they had received my original. You never know how cic works.

I asked about the receiving of rcmp clearance and i had a job update too. Got automated acknowledgement, nothing else afterwards. Its almost 3 days.

Also if we CC some one else, do it matters(my immigration consultant)

As I said, never know how cic works. Wait for another couple of days. Toby is right, not always expects a response.

Re the copy some one else, not sure if this matters. But if I were you, I would not copy anyone as to me it is absolutely private. Who did you copy, your lawyer?

I CC my immigration consultant as his email was not going through. So he asked me to send cec an email and cc him. And I also mentioned in the email that Mr -_ _ _ _ is my immigration consultant. Before I got my AOR through him

Assuming the consultant is your representative, don't think it matters. Hang on for another while for the response.

Have you ordered GCMS notes to see if there are any issues or concerns raised by cic? It is very helpful to identify and take proactive actions other than waiting.

Yes I dis last week. Hopefully with a 30 days I will get it. Also I did not attach copy of my WP with it. is it mandatory ??

No, wp is not required. I ordered one set last December without any documents attached and received it. Very best luck on your application and hope you get mr and ppr soon!

Yes it is. If you request notes under the Access to Information Act from within Canada, you're not being charged.

I paid $5 and request is from canada. It took me to a page where it was saying i have to pay . Please give your suggestions, did i do some thing wrong
