Emailed CIC the employment reference letter as requested, but...

Hi all,

I just emailed CIC my employment reference letter as requested, but I am wondering if CIC would actually read the email and attach my documents to my file?

I am thinking of mailing them the original documents as well, which I think may "catch some attentions"... Maybe I am just too paranoid?

Anyone who has the similar experience, I would appreciate your suggestions!

Hi,

emailing documents is just fine. Only PCCs have to be mailed directly.

I replied CIC's email with my personal info, and attached the documents that CIC requested... maybe I am just too nervous.

i have a very dump question: Is there any way that I may know CIC has attached those documents to my file already? Any notifications from CIC?

Regarding your second question, for now, all you receive is the automated response from CIC
( which you received a couple minutes after sending your email ). In some cases CIC responds
again, after processing your email && attachments.
If not, don't worry about it, CIC has received your email and it will be processed for sure.
If you still want to make sure they've received, processed and added it to your file, email them
after 12-14 days and ask, or request GCMS notes ( instructions can be found on my website ),
which will give you more insight.
