He applied on first week of August and approved in end of August. He applied from Lahore.

Would suggest getting your MP involved. Has anything happened with your application at all? Any correspondence from IRCC?

He would have gotten assessed by an AI system which is why it was so fast. If you require manual processing, which is very common, it typically takes closer to 2-3+ months

Possible, but I remember when I applied my visitor visa, it was approved within 3 days ( I applied on Saturday and received passport request on Tuesday but I applied from Trinidad. I had invitation letter from the person where I am working in Canada right now but my travel history is very good. I had valid US visa, UK valid visa and travelled many time to US, UK including Switzerland and France.

No i didn't get anything from ircc, even my application is stuck after my background check was completed on 15 june 2023, i didn't recieve any correspondence letter or anything. it's almost more then 9 months. this wait is too much frustrated. and right now i don't know when my response will come. still waiting.
