Eligibility for Canadian Experience Class

Do I need to get 1 year work experience closely related to my study to become eligible for Canadian experience class (CEC).

Or can I apply for CEC with other work experience in Canada not related to my studies.

Did you read the link ? You need a job classified as 0,a or B with the job duties as stated for the NOC plus any qualifications if any as described in the NOC description for that job. The latter is not necessarily a deal breaker if the job duties are met.

The jobs are categorised as NOC 0,A,B...
But my doubt is that whether the skilled work experience should relate or not with my study in Canada..

In each NOC description there is a section EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS which will state whether there are any education requirements that are suggested as necessary or MAY be or usually required to go with the job duties.

Anyone here could give a general answer and say job doesnt matter if not related to education but it is what is stated for a specific job that is important, there is no one size fits all and ultimately IRCC will decide on the importance of job duties versus any education requirements.

Maybe share here the jobs you are thinking about and what your qualifications are .

Prior Workexperience 0 years

I am thinking to search jobs as

Chemical Process Engineer
Environmental Engineer
Chemical Technologist
Chemical Reactor Operator
Water Treatment
Process Control

It is not a requirement. If it IS a requirement, it is stated as a requirement.
