CIC says that they will give you an answer in 8 weeks...
8 weeks x 7 days = 56 days...
Today I complete my 56 day and all I got was the AOR on May, 16.
Can I do something in this case? Maybe call them to ask about update or something?

I counted the days of your application and you are over by 1 day. I will advice you to email their office and if no reply by Monday follow up with a visit. my calculation
5 business days Monday to Friday multiplied by 8 weeks =40 days. As of the moment you are 8 weeks and a day.Please updat us on what ever the situation because i handed in my addendum on the 21st of April.

They received my app in April, 17. So I took this day off from the counting... hehe
Not sure if the day of deliver is into those 8 weeks...
Anyway, I'll send them an e-mail by the end of today.
Let's hope for the best Igor. My lawyer dropped my application on April 20 but my AOR says they recieved on April 17. Hope we can get a good news very very soon

Unfortunately I heard that they are giving the nomination in 11 weeks instead of 8... So there will be one more month waiting for some answer...
I hope its not 11 weeks, based on the forum many got nomination 1 month and 2 weeks from AOR, some got it 1 month and 1 week from AOR and the faster is 27 days from AOR just this May. . Hopefully we can hear good news soon.

looks like it really takes 11 weeks now. I saw another website saying that people applied on April 2 just got phone call this week, which means we will need to wait 3 more weeks.
