You ain't the only one Anya654. I am pissed off waiting here. My BG changed to In Progress on 26 Aug and there is no update thereafter, no DM.

It's really kind of frustrating.

I am new to this forum. I am currently in United States and I submitted my application (after receiving an ITA (through FSW category)) on August 26, 2015 and the status still says "Processing Submission" and the "Days Left" continues to countdown. At the time of submission, the days left were 21 and now it will be 14 days. I can see in my credit card statement that the payment was indeed processed. I was wondering if anybody had information or guidance in this regard? I see earlier posts where the status changed around 2 days, but it has been more than 6 days for me and I am getting worried. I would appreciate it if you could please share any information you may think would be helpful.

Your BG changing to "in progress" is a positive sign. It would take longer for it to be completed depending on the length of your background, the time frame response from the persons contacted and also from what country you are applying from. Mine took about a month to get passed.

Hi, Righteous, I saw your previous post mention that you received PPR the same day your BG changed to In Progress. So how do you know the length of your BG if that status is not indicative enough? I am a bit confused here. Maybe I misunderstood your post? Thanks.

Yes, on the same day I received PPR, my BG check changed to "IN PROGRESS". Then after about 28 post PPR days, the BG "in progress" changed to "passed" on the same day myCIC indicated that my PR application changed to "approved".

I think they are processing the files as per the ITAs received. March 27 ITAs are more or less done with. Then the turn of April 10 ITAs and April 17 ITAs would come. Hopefully, Positively, Expectedly!!

I am the March 27 ITA batch, still waiting too. We two requested for explanation of source of funds are in the same boat. Hope for the best result for us!

yep... i have inconsistencies as well. in mycic i already have medicals passed, but ecas only shows 3lines up until now. last line says started processing in aug11. oh well...good luck to us all

I see you received your ITA on April 10 which means they're now on April ITA application submissions.

I think our application is now in the local VO. They conducted a bg check today at around 5 pm our time, so around 4 am in Canada.
Hoping for PPR soon!
