I had completed my bachelor of commerce in 2001 and MBA in Information Systems in 2011 (weekend batch). I have been working as a database administrator since 2007. I read somewhere else that bachelor degree in computer science is must to put up the file for canada on the basis of "Database Administrator" and that's why I am little confused.
Now my questions are as under,
1. Should I eligible for FSW PR visa?
2. Will they accept my bachelor degree?
3. Will they consider my 7 years of experience as a Database Administrator without a computer science degree?

My MBA considered as a part time so it does not help me for the point calculation.
Is it any chance that my bcom degree and my experience as a database administrator creates any problem for FSW visa process ?

Educational qualification, for most of the NOCs, has no bearing on the FSW Process itself as long as your work experience matches the majority of the duties in your selected NOC.
Obviously, certain NOCs, example Nursing, wouldn't be feasible for a Finance Graduate and I am sure we will rarely have a finance grad with exp. in Nursing, so this is kind of a no brainer.
The requirement you have quoted is not 'Educational'. Its rather the experience an applicant is expected to have gained in order to meet the duties listed in the NOC, which in this case is Purchasing Manager.
I have the same question, as my college degree was pharmacy while my experience is in database administration, any my related question is:
Do I need to get my old pharmacy degree assessed at all? for the education section of the points grid.
Or is my experience in the experience section enough for both?
