Dear Babbu, Jaggy> Thank you for your replies...I have a few more questions(if these questions have been already answered, pls point me to those threads)...pls share me your advice/suggestions...
1. I have a travel history of atleast 6 countries and atleast 24 visits(not counting 'transits') in total; my wife has a similar travel history. But all visits of ours are either business/tourist visits(not exceeding 15 days per trip) not on 'work-visa'. I understand that only when one stays(or has been working with a work visa) in a foreign country for a longer period of time(unlike 15 days) would likely to get the processing/back-ground checking delayed...is my understanding correct?
2. My NOC is 0213(no longer listed) would that cause any delay to the existing processing?
3. When I check 'processing times'(at CIC website)...I see '18' months(based on Complete Package) for 'New Delhi'(Applications received BETWEEN November 28, 2008 and June 25, 2010)...I have 2 questions...
a. My complete package was sent to NDVO on Jan 2011 and AOR received on Jan 2011; so for my case, the processing time is not listed yet? Am I correct?
b. Is the processing-time(18 months for NDVO) initiated after the final/complete application is submitted OR from the time the ECAS status changes to 'In-process: we have started processing application from <<month & year>>'?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Jerry
1. Since u have a extensive travel history....it may take time for BC and hence delay ur overall processing time(u don't need to submit PCC, since u have mentioned that u didn't stay in any of those 6 countries for longer than 6 months).
2.ur Noc is not the cause of any delay.......But MI2 applicants are not being processed at priority.....MI3 is at the priority list.
3.a.The processing time currently is not even listed for MI3 applicants, but u can take 18 months as approx. processing time for ur appln(it may exceed though for reasons unknown to us).
3.b.18 months is the total processing time.....right from the time it reached CIO to u gettin a visa
Thank you Jaggy; good info.; +1 to you.

Jerry

Thank you Babbu; can you pls detail the email I need to send it to NDVO? As I said earlier, I did not receive any communication from NDVO after my AOR(on Jan 2011)...so I requested my agent to send a reminder to NDVO and it was sent on Oct 2011. And then after a long wait, I found my eCAS status updated to 'in-process' and message saying 'Your Application was recevied and we started processsing on May 2012'. This email you have asked me to send...is also a reminder...like the one I sent on Oct 2011? Kindly advise.

Jerry

Dear Babbu & Jaggy,
Since I sent my complete application on Jan 2011(and received AOR on the same month), I had cleared an internationally recognized certification(PMP) + additional technical certifications. At the time of final application(Jan 2011), I was a 'consultant' and now I am 'full-time employee'...I believe that these updates would help/accelerate my processing? Is my belief correct? Can I ask my agent to append these update with evidence to the NDVO? Or do you think these updates would actually slow down my process! Kindly advise.
Regards,
Jerry

dear jerry, if u have a representative then CHC won't reply ur query, he can send query on your behalf..If there is ecas update to start processing then don't worry, its a good sign!!
Any circumstantial change is strongly advised to update..like marriage, birth, death, change of address and job !!
Dua'o Mei yaad rakha..I wish u all best of luck for smooth and quick processing!!

Dear Babbu,
I am not able to completely understand...what you said below. But I know you have spent your time and answered my questions with your best effort. I am really not sure about this points system...if there is a possibility I can give a +100. Apart from these points, my thanks and wishes to you...are honest and genuine. Thank you for the good work.

Jerry
