ECAS shows decision made, I hope its a bug !!

There is one possibility:

Decision made (Top) = This status is connection to the application at CIO, Sydney
Application Received (Below) = This status is in connection to application at local Visa office

i wish above guessing is correct

Before applicants are having just one link on the main page (like RBVO or In Process or Decision Made) now is two links so may be new system introduces

My both file numbers are showing the same status. One start with B (old one) and other start with E(new one). Can plz anyone check status with old file number?

Hi friends
my case is different from you all
i have two lines shown in my ecas
1st is "Application received"
and inside it "we have received your application for permanent residence on XX Nov 2010" this status is as it is since 2nd AOR
2nd line is "Decision made"
and inside it same as all of you have got DM status this status is updated on first week of Oct 2011

i contacted with my friend he is Jan 2010 applicant he told that his ecas is in process since 2nd AOR and displaying the status in one line only

Before that I was also unable to access it by using old file number but 3 days ago when I tried with old one it was showing me the same status means now I am unable to check with old one too. Don't know what happened to our cases. Plz try again with your old file number..

Hi, all these while, I could check only with UCI or new number EXXXXXXXXx. When I tried with CIO number BXXXXXXXX it wouldnt show status, it would come as not found.
But now, I am able to check with old file number as well as new file number. Now makes me think if DM is indeed a false status due to database migration error......lets see

Hi Mona, I am able to login to ECAS with both BXXXXXXXXX & EXXXXXXXXX numbers.

Earlier only EXXXXXXXXX was working, since this was provided by NDVO

Now BXXXXXXXX is also working which was provided by CIO-NS.

I guess this confirms there is NO ISSUE in ECAS since both the file numbers are having similar status as "Decision Made"

DM is ecas error as it happen to those march,april applicants who submit their full docs in august2010 onwards.

And march,april applicants who submit their full docs in june, july are all in process now.
