Has anyone else been having problems with ecas lately? Just recently we received my husbands AOR and have been notified that his application went in process. When we log into ecas with his info, his name appears....and under it says "click on underlined portion to see your status" or something close to that...but there is no underlined status to click on. Nothing at all under his name.
Has anyone else experienced this?
We're happy to see his name appear on ecas, but to know what his status is would be awesome too.
No it doesn't say anything. Just has his name all in bold letters, and nothing underneath to click on. A big empty space, and then the box opting out of seeing anything on line. But nothing else about his status.
e-cas is not a reliable source of up-to-date status of your application.
in my case, our passports have already been requested but until now e-cas still shows In Process and if I click that, it says "We started processing your application on June 23, 2010."
i've read of others whose e-cas changed to decision made on the day they landed.
just some examples of why you shouldn't not be worried that your e-cas is not updated.
You could also try with a different browser. Not sure what you are using, but if you cant see something in Firefox you could try with Internet Explorer.
If you're not sure what I am saying, you could also try on someone elses computer.
Thanks leroadrunner for your suggestion. My husband and I have tried on two different computers, two different browsers and we both get the same screen. I think it just must be ecas and not us....at least that is what I am hoping.
But thanks again for your suggestions! We'll keep trying.
