wanted to discuss the above step for issuing transcripts from Mumbai University. I am currently in USA and I am not sure how i would be getting the universities and colleges to send the transcripts to CIC. All my originals are with me.
I have done Masters and Bachelors - Is the transcript for just Masters sufficient? or will I also need to get the Bachelors transcripts from the college(affiliated with Mumbai University only)
Can I show USA degree equivalency which comes with the H1B visa package? Will that work?

As per CIC requirement, you just need to get your highest degree assessed, but since WES does not charge by the number of degrees that are being assessed, it would be advisable to send all all degrees or diplomas from Bachelors onwards. This will help in case where WES does not assess some foreign Masters equivalent to Canadian Masters.
Since you are the US, you can send scanned copies of your mark sheets and certificates to your friends or relatives in India and they can take a printout and get the same attested/request for transcripts on your behalf from the university. Once everything is ready, they can either snend it to WES directly, or they can send it to you and you can send it to WES.

In my case, I went personally, so I carried the originals with me. May be in your case, you can send notarized copies of your certificate (to prove its authenticity) along with few photocopies of your marksheets (not notarized), with a letter authorizing the person appearing on your behalf to collect the sealed envelope (with transcripts). Also, please mention in the letter why you cannot provide the originals, instead highlight the fact that you are submitting notarized copies.

I'm in the same position, i live in USA and have all marksheets with me here. I am looking for a service to help me get transcripts using the scanned marksheets. I don't want to send my originals by mail.
