Hi, yes, everything turned out as expected – they’ve assessed my 1st credential (University Degree) as “3 yrs Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university” and my 2nd one (Master Degree) as “Master’s degree from a recognized university”.

Yes, you can. You will only have to provide proof (copy of the original paper) when it will be required by the ones asssesing your application

It has been 2 weeks now that my Assessment is in progress. It is weird it is taking that long. My diploma is not weird/unusual so I don't see any reason that the assessment is delayed.
And I am sure that I will not have any more details if I contact them.
I can't wait to have this behind me...

I'm hoping that they will get back to you shortly.. if not, you should follow up as we are already in May 7th (so 3 months since they confirmed that they've received your transcripts)..
I'm confident that you will be able to join the next CRS withdraw

This is certainly disturbing. I'm on 8th week and just recently scored clb 9 in first attempt (luckily), just waiting for the ECA to submit profile. You should contact them

First of all congratulations on your ITA ! it is a really important step.

Thank you for your support. I followed your advice and youngman's one and contacted them and asked them if there was an issue, how i could help and when I can expect a final decision. I lost 2 weeks, 1 draw, at the end it will count.
I will keep you updated when I hear from them

We apologize for the delay. We had to conduct further research on your credential. The assessor working on your file will issue the assessment shortly.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

So not too much more details than "research on your credential" for the reason of delay but at least I had a feedback. I really hope to get my assessment today.

Finally some good news! The status changed to "Decision made" last Friday afternoon and I received the temporary assessment by email today. They validated my Master which was really great news.
I completed my Express Entry profile this afternoon, and with a CRS=491, I expect to receive an ITA at the next draw (this Wednesday hopefully). I am excited and really happy that this ECA part is over!

I think the assessment process is carefully done by CES and fair, but it takes really long. I would recommend them only if time does not matter with your application.
Here is the final breakdown of the dates for the CES report:

• Complete 1. Initial Review In Progress - JAN 20th

• Complete 2. Transcript(s) Received - FEB 7th

• Complete 3. Initial Review Complete - APRIL 22nd

• Complete 4. Assessment In Progress - APRIL 23rd

• Complete 5. Assessment Decision Made - May 10th

• Complete 6. Decision Dispatched - May 14th

Good luck to everyone waiting. Just be patient and don't start worrying before 12 weeks after your transcripts are received
