A question, incase if I send only masters for evaluation and it gets credentials of master equivalency then in that case in IRCC do I need to only upload master ECA or I also need to get the bachelor ECA done and upload it somewhere

Only Masters transcripts. Make sure to follow all the indications carefully. The process is pretty straight-forward.

Hi Jorida,

I had to pay for both ($220 for each degree/assessment). You can include both in the same time in your profile (that's depending on what you want - for instance, having 2 degrees assessed will give you more CRS points when submitting your profile, but if you already have enough CRS points than it doesn't make sense to asses both of your degrees, but only the higher one - Master Degree).

This is only a suggestion, you have to decide depending on your case

Hi, I have already done ECA from WES that recognized both my BA and MA degree as Bachelor. I am thinking of doing my ECA again from CES to get the MA equivalency. I would like to mention, I have done MA in English (36 credits including 6 credits thesis) from North South University, Bangladesh. I would like to have your suggestion on this. Thanks.

Hi Taman,

Unfortunately I'm not able to help you here - there is no assurance that ECA from CES will assess your Master Degree as a Master (or Bachelor).. Of course, if you have a low CRS score and having your Master degree assessed as a "master" will help you in increasing your score, than sure, you should give it a try and ask for a separate ECA from CES, but again, no one can confirm if they will assess your degree as desired or if they will considered it as a Bachelor as well.. I'm not familiar with your University or how CES will assess your degree.

Hi Srini,

I received my originals 2 days after the dispatch, you should call them to see if there is any issue.
On a separate hand, you don't need the originals when you create your profile (the originals are needed only after you will receive the "invitation to apply" - because you will need to provide copies of the original docs).

I don't think you can track them - just call the university for update (you should provide your allocated student id)

Hello Simmidas, You need ECA only for your highest education or for the education you need points for as mentioned on IRCC website.

I saw the link , I have not created my IRCC profile yet hence I was looking forward for some overview of someone who has already created the profile. If ECA is given only based on Master's degree then where will the Bachelor degree details go? In education Information or Personal Information? I understand that with regards to claim points based on dual certificates we need to enter both the certificate details individually there is absolutely no doubt in this process however my confusion is only with regards to masters if I update my ECA report against masters then where will I report my bachelors education details?

I got my ECA done from ICES but they didnt give me master degree hence I am getting it reevaluated again from UOT but getting both bahelors and masters evaluation is a very costly affair from UOT as they charge separately.

I guess one should fill the details of the Master's info (or any education info with ECA) in the education information section and Bachelor's info (without ECA) in additional info section where you don't need ECA reference number.

My transcripts have been successfully delivered as per DHL tracking, however, the status of my application has still not changed and still doesnt confirm that CES received my transcripts. It's been a week since my transcripts were delivered but no update yet.
