I also thought about doing the same , but smbody told me it is illegal to get passport across the border without the holder travelling on it. Is it true ?? Otherwise my dad has valid australian visa and can fly to hand me the passport

This should be an exemption because it was actually requested for by the visa office. For instance, my visa office is across the border, but I had to send it as requested via PPR without travelling. You can speak to the embassy for advice before incurring such expense.

Hi all , i just got my PPR email in my cic account. I want your help now as me and my wife are residing in Sydney Australia but my 1 year old daughter is currently in India with her grandparents. I want to know how i can submit her passport for stamping. Should i get couriered here or i will have to ask cic to permit her to submit her passport in India ??

Please help.

Sounds like that you have passed the case analyst review. I'm glad to hear that your profile is waiting for an officer review which I believe is the final stage of the application. In my case, I waited 24 days in the queue to get an officer to review my application.

I did it through immigrationtracker website where you see order GCMS notes on the top.. costs you 20 bucks.. but you can do it yourself as well, I think 5 dollars( if you are in Canada)

I have one query. I received PPR letter. But there is one issue in the address. One alphabet is missing from the address. My actual address is VIVEKANAND PARK but its printed VIVEKANAD PARK.. N is missing.. What to do in this case ?? Can I confirm somehow from my cic profile what address I have mentioned and secondly shall I proceed for correction ? If yes, how to do it ??
