Yes, GCMS is not bound to specific stream, you can raise one. Though it will take a month for the notes to arrive and it will have the data till the GCMS applied date (so the changes happened to your file between GCMS raised and GCMS received date, may not be included in the notes).
Can someone from India who has submitted E-Apr successfully help on this?
I have multiple addresses during last 10 years but all within India but in different states where I resided more than 6 months. Currently I am staying in Maharashtra(Not my home state which is mentioned in the passport) for last 6 years. Since I have mentioned all addresses in Personal History section, it is asking for multiple PCC. But if you apply for PCC from Passport website, they ask for last 1 year address and initiate the PCC from here.
So, my understanding is, even though we have resided in multiple states with in India, we need to get PCC from current address only. Only one PCC should be uploaded into the E-Apr section? Can someone help on this?
PCC is country-specific,not state or city specific. Indian PCC is sufficient. It basically means you have no criminal record etc. anywhere in India. This is what I understand from what I have read. I have lived in different states and cities in India too and submitted 1 Indian PCC. All the best.

1 - If you get PCC from an Indian Embassy from abroad, it is fine and valid for entire country.
2 - If you get from PSK in India, thats also valid for entire country.
3 - If you get PPC from local police, then you need to get it from every city or town you lived.
Best option is to get it from PSK if you are based in India.

BG checks- have not been completed yet.
So I guess my file would take over average 180 days mark
184 days. Just called IRCC this morning and still saying that 'We are working on your application'!
I thought they would send a note to the visa officer as it already passed 6 month mark!
Surprisingly, since then I am unable to access my applications. I can still access my account, but not the applications! God knows what is going on!!!
