I haven't checked my application in a week, was pretty discouraged with everything. I just checked right now and it still says, "We are reviewing whether you meet eligibility" BUT this time in background it says, "We are processing your background check." Please tell me I'm almost there...

I called call center for the first time in almost 5 months. Agent was not helpful at all and told me to call back after 6 months.

Very frustrating .

My lawyer said our processing time are "unnormal", maybe the officer need further BGcheck, and someone got Tel interview already.

In my case nobody got any calls
But my spouse has work experience too
So double work we both are CEC

I had that status for almost a month, then late last week it became, we are processing the documents you have uploaded. Then on Friday it read - we need more docs, we will send you an email about it. I had nothing in myCIC portal, then today morning....bam!

It says - we do not need additional documents and we are processing your bg check.

Cool. Looks like you are at the pole position. Do you have any idea where your file is been processed? Ottawa or NDVO.
