It seems that from IP2 to PPR it is taking a little bit more time than before.

Don't believe CIC processing time. I am a CEC inland applicant with AOR on March 3. Medical passed on April 7 and BG went to NA. Since then nothing changed. It's almost 80 completed after medical passed. Still BG at NA. Any idea why my application is taking longer than expected time for CEC candidate.

The average for CEC is 85 days, however, not all get done in 85 days, many wait for 100 and more days... not all will fall into the average bracket.

Did you try to figure out what's holding up? I know my case went for additional review.

No updates after that..Still waiting....Standard Reply - Your file is not ready for finalization and its within the standard processing time-I dont know how long we got to wait.

Using application number when I call CIC and check my status, computerized machine says -

Your medical is passed, no additional document required at this moment. You don't require Interview. We are still checking your eligibility and review of background check not started yet. Also, I talked with CIC agent, she was polite and told me to wait until September as your application is still 3 months under processing.
Can anyone tell which stage my application? Anyone with the same condition here.

The average time of treating the demands is 6 months... i don t understand why you are stressing... just wait. It s the same for a lot of people .. they maybe treats the easy cases quickly and the rest hahaa i donno but for example all the pnp outland are treated at the end ... knowing thay we allready did a proceedure with provinces... crazy right? ... me too i will call in september. It s just too much to wait when it s so close! And i thi k that if they allow us we would help working on the cases freely haha...
My bf even is telling me i should work on immigration later becoz everyday am updating whats going on... it s more stress and fear but for nothing. We have to be occupied doing something else.

This was exactly my case
Do not worry about your visitor visa because you will assume implied status once your current permit expires, since you applied before it expires

What happened in my case is that I renewed my visitor visa on 25th March just before I submitted my PR application, and requested for 6 months visistor visa renewal since that is the time they take to process PR.

I never got any reply from them regarding my visitor visa renewal. I waited for close to three months. But the day I got the golden email (PPR) is the same day they approved my visitor visa.

Sit back and relax. You have only one CIC account and the officers handling your case can see every application you have made, both PR and Visitor.
The most important thing is that you applied before your current permit expires

I dont know, when I called CIC , they said my eligibility and criminality are passed. Security is not yet started.

Hello, so does it mean it took about 2 months for your BG change from IP1 to NA?

Ya I would say so... Maybe more. The status changed to medicals passed early april I think and the NA status was late june.
