They maybe just going through secondary checks to make sure your NOC matches correctly with you reference letter(s). I'd say still pay the RPRF in advance. That may get them to start looking at your file again.
This is the link to pay it through your MyCIC account if you choose to do it yourself or you can send the link to your consultant. It's pretty straight forward.
My medical was done first- took 2 months just for it to pass and I have no medical issues (!). Been stuck on eligibility since medical passed, so they haven't even begun background (at least according to the site).
Thanks for sharing!
Just wondering that the email on my application is under my consultant's email address which I don't have the access to. (But I have the access to MyCIC account). Is it ok to send this email through my own email address?
I have one more question my consultant has access to my cic account and he entered his own email while filling up application. Can I email from my email to cic for status?
Hello I just logged in to my account and the main page was showing "updated" next to my permanent residency application.
When I clicked the "check status" button everything looked the same as before... I may have had a short moment of "N/A" in background check and then quickly went back to "we are processing your background check.." again? I hope I am now at IP2. I will keep you updated.
I'm just curious. Did your Additional Document section change? Mine was showing updated too but the only thing that changed was the Additional Document section. It's now back to normal as "We do not need additional documents." since I have never submitted any additional docs. Maybe they have fixed the glitch?
I am new on this forum and I have a question which I thought people who have already gone through or are going through post-ITA phase can answer. So here is my situation:
I am in US and currently my application for change of status (visa category) is pending. So in case I get an ITA, will the fact that I currently don't have a valid status in US cause automatic rejection? Or does CIC definitely request copy of current visa/status in the country you are in (if it is not your country of citizenship)? Please help.
