I previously read a thread in this forum someone post a very detail explanation on the different statuses of background check in express entry such as what the status is for each phase and what is supposed to be completed on CIC side, not able to find it though....
What I understand is that for CEC inland after IP1 or NBS to NA, our files will be transferred to CPC OTTAWA for final processing and when it reaches IP2, PPR ususally will be granted within one week.

Guys I am a little concerned... Ever since the AOR on March 23 and no updates whatsoever. Not even medical. Is this normal? Also, how can I know which visa office is processing my application? I am FSW-outland applying from Egypt. Thanks!

You can send an email to ask IRCC about which office is processing your application. And make sure that you include your name, file number, date of birth and Unique Client Identifier (UCI) .
It does not seem that way. PNP applicants are last priority based on what I have observed in the tracker. So us PNP applicants are in for a long wait. So far it appears that PNP applicants still achieve PR status within the 6 months after receipt of e-APR.
So if March applicants don't get PPR by the end of September, then we're in trouble. I'm not super worried about it though. It's just another waiting game.
Well, I would say that PNP may be slow in the first few processes like R10 because that they have to coordinate between the IRCC and your provincial immigration office to confirm your nomination certificate and determine your eligibility. It could be faster than CEC and FSW after they confirm your PNP.
On the other hand, CEC's eligibility is determined at the last few stages which will take longer than PNP. Maybe CEC seems moving fast at the beginning but slows down before the finalization.
Hey, my timeline is quite similar to yours, AOR March 18, medical passed on April 6 and BG has remained "next step is to conduct background check" since.
