In Toronto they don't recognize the Indian Driving License . Get a International Drivers License from India. They will give you in 6hours
Or else better book a Uber or any cab . It really depends on the person if who checks your ID.
In terms of your USA license, Ontario laws state that we need to have a valid drivers license at all times

Goto to your local RTA office and apply . I did it 3years back.. I don't know if it is a online service now

Just called CIC and got completely different answer. When I called last time (3 weeks ago), an agent told me that my application is going smooth and hear an update soon. Eligibility and criminality are passed.

Today's answer is my application will take more weeks or months to approve. Really confused....

Kinda had the similar experience today (maybe not as harsh). Recently an agent told me that everything looks good and I should be expecting PPR soon, today another agent said that my application may take up the 6 month mark to complete.
They are not helping my cardiovascular health!

so yesterday my background check was we are processing your application we will send you when we start your background check, and they asked for travel history. Today i sent travel history, now my bg is Not Applicable, and documents is we do not need additional documents. What do you make of this? Did i finish IP1 ? or that wasnt even IP1?

It happened the same to me after I've sent IMM5562 form.
Background check went from IP1 to NA

P.S : As I'm seeing most cases from March are in pending I will at least set my goal towards that 180th day.

My Application was approved this afternoon July 13th, 2017.
Here is my timeline:
ITA 03/01 - NOC 2174 - CEC Inland
MED EXAM 03/21/2017
AOR 03/22/2017
MED PASSED - BGC:IP1 04/19/2017
PPR - 06/28/2017 (NA & IP2 never happened...)
Passport Delivered - 06/30/2017
PR Application Approved - 07/13/2017

Return Envelope Tracker has not been activated yet.

Also, I have called them and was instructed to send only my passport as the PPR which i have received does not include instructions to send my family members' passport, they said. "Once you send your passport and get it stamped the instructions for family members will be send separately", they said. Anybody had this situation? what did you do?

I received PPR mail yesterday. My Timeline below

AOR: 20 March
Meds Passed: 13 April
Background In Progress: 13 April
RCMP request: 30 May
IP1-NA 28 June
NA-IP2: 29 June
PPR: 6 July

My PR Application was just CANCELLED :O

The reason given was Police Cert was issued before last resident in a country. But this isn't true. My partner was last resident in that country until 2004 and the Police Cert was issued in 2015. we even included a letter to explain. Please HELP, what can I do????

We went through hell to get the application this far (pnp was cancelled 3 times, 2 language tests, 3 medicals, etc).
I can't cope if it's cancelled now
Did this happen to anyone else? Any any advice pls?

We have received a cancellation of eAPR which is based on wrong information. The letter states (regarding two non-dependent children from my spouse's (primary applicant) previous marriage):

"Specifically, your application does not include the following elements:
ADDITIONAL DEPENDANTS ( CHILDREN: A and B) LISTED UNDER BACKGROUND INFORMATION AND NOT INCLUDED ON APPLICATION.
Note: A full review of your application was not performed. There may be other elements, not identified above, which may also be missing or incomplete"

When the information we provided them is: "Declaration of divorce and children from a previous marriage: In my application, I have declared my previous marriage to [X], from which marriage I have two children: a son A and B (mentioned under family members not identified in eAPR). The marriage ended in divorce on non-amicable terms. I do not have custody of the children nor am I aware of their whereabouts. I am attaching as proof of divorce, a notarized copy of divorce certificate in Urdu and its certified English translation."

Our OINP nomination expires on August 6. The call center is useless. I have however raised a CSE notifying the info is incorrect.

Hey guys sorry to interrupt. My question is a little off topic to this thread. I received an ITA yesterday. When I click continue application it is asking me to fill the forms. After I fill the forms and move to the document upload section? Is it possible to come back and edit the forms?

Appreciate your help.
