duration of work permit if you r already international student

hi everyone

Basically I'm from India and have done 3 yrs graduate program from UK. But currently I'm in canada pursuing 1 yr course.
Does my previous international studies be accountable to provide me 3 year post graduate work permit in canada instead of usual 1 yr permit ?
Also what else can be done to obtain 3 years work permit after 1 year full time course?

Hi,

Why will you get work permit for UK studies ? Weird.
You'll receive only 1 year PGWP.
You can start 1 year program immediately after the completion of present program to acquire 3 years PGWP.

Actually I heard it from somewhere so just wanted to clarify.
is there any short term program where my previous credits from 1 year course can be transferred to make it a 2 yr course and make me eligible for 3 years PGWP.

No you have to take two years course in canada.
