I have question with regards my wife application. She applied FSW 2014 NOC 1111 we received the file number last year December 16,2014 draft check en cashed on November 25,2014. If I will check online the file number status" In Process" click the in process ( We received your application for permanent residence on September 05,2014)My question is what timeline I will start counting on our application. On the month of September as per the client application status website or PER month received on the December 16 2014. Additional information the application was sent July 30, 2014 and received in Halifax August 07,2014.

Good for a overall guideline, however I find the information bit outdated.
I suggest you Call Scotiabank in DXB to check the latest. Their tieup with HDFC is no longer applicable.
Also Scotiabank has tieup with Kotak Mahindra in India to setup Canadian Bank account.

I did my medical from Dubai London Speciality Hospital with Dr. Iwona.
They do your x-ray, blood test, eye sight test. urine test, blood pressure check and in the last Dr. examine you like your chest for any whizzing, your eyes and ears genera examination.
If you have any medical history please take it with you and if you are on some medication take the prescription with you as well.

Please note that 2 of my friends have recently done medicals and one of them was
Zahra Hospital in Sharjah.
Guy who did in Sharjah has advised that this facility is online which means your medical
records will be updated at VO within day or two and Zahra hospital confirms the same
as well when they have updated it.
So when you go there you only need to carry your original passports and medical
request paperwork and no need for any pictures etc. as they do everything there plus
they are very friendly as well.
Where as the guy who did at London Speciality hospital wasn't very happy so you
can decide based on my 2 friend's experiences.
