Hello Friends in Dubai Forum
I want your suggestion that i applied in Nov 2007 and still waiting for updates. My point score is 71. I applied in Biology Teacher Code 4141. Now too much time is over. Should i wait more or apply again in fast track system. :-\
I am teacher in AlAin Pakistani School and need your valuable views.
Thanks
I am intending to bring some of the smaller gadgets like camera and mobile phone to Canada,in addition to the laptop. We use here 220 v to charge these. But in Canada it will be 110 v.So in order to convert and use them as it is do i need to bring the converter or transformer.I am not sure whether the converter and the transformer are the same or different. Also i think we need a flat pin adapter as all the sockets in canada have flat pins.I presume the laptops do not have a problem of the voltage. Also i would be bringing in a small grinder to be run on electric power. Please confirm.

U need to read the Instructions Booklet of your gadgets, the Camera, Grinder etc. To ascertain it's Voltage Range. Nowadays most work from 110-220.
About the Flat Pin Adaptor. U'd find them everywhere available here. Including the Dollarama Stores, where it costs $1. At other electronic stores it could be pricier, but both r the same.

I have applied for the PCC at the Al Satwa Police station. A simple process including giving fingerprints and paying 110 Dhs(US$ 35). They asked for to collect it after 3 days.
Thanks for your prompt response.
