I have applied under Family class. (Spouse) & my application being processed in Abu Dhabi.
Need your advice/help for following :-
1. Did all of you got IMM5549E form request alongwith AOR or some months after AOR?
2. With my original application, i forgot to translate my UAE visa to English & just sent a copy of Original visa. Should i send an English translation of this alongwith IMM5549E form OR send only IMM5549E as they haven't requested me for English translation of UAE residence visa yet.
3. if you advice me to send UAE visa English translation, please advice where to do this translation in Dubai? Do i need to do some legal translation of this OR normal translation with notarized stamp?
1. Yes, sometimes the CHC asks those forms again. Fill-it & send-it.
2. Yes, they need the translated copy of the UAE R/Visa. But, u can wait for their request & then enact on it. Sometimes they might just not need it -as u r a family class applicant.
3. If u have to, it must be a 'legal' translation. There r many such translators around the UAE. U can find them thru the 'classifieds' of Gulf News, Khaleej Times etc. They'd cost u AED100 approx. [No notarization required]

I know that every one asks you questions, I am also prevailing upon you but would appreciate if you can share any knowledge on the matter.
You are aware that we have done our medicals. My question is, if they decline us in FSW category, can my brother sponsor me as family? I am not sure about this, but would like to explore various options.
Many thanks again.
A 'real' brother can always sponsor you -u know that, but the problem'd be the meds. If [for some unlucky reason -God forbid] your meds do not come thru, that'd hold good for any other type of Canadian Immigr Application as well. Note: A DMP's medical is a frontrunner requirement for our Canadian Immigr -under any class.
Let's pray together that such a scenario doesn't come-up for u guys.
Thank you for the reply. There were 2 doubts. First, if the real brother can sponsor any one above 18 years? and the second I thought Family Sponsorship exempted medical requirements. However, I guess both are clear. thank you again for the reply and the best wishes.
Just an update.. Got a letter for another PCC..wonder why? Inspite of submitting PCCs from Dubai & Indian consulate around sep last year!
Any March AUH interview applicants with any update?
Qorax RIC.. my meds & rprf requested and sent in Jan and interview on Mar 7th in auh.. and now another pcc request. Do you think there'd be any issues?

as per my knowledege even a real sibling brother or sister cannot sponsor you if you are above 18 please refer cic.gca.ca for further info but this is 100% confirmed
