I will be making first entry by the 3rd week this month, and I have to return to Dxb in 5 days.

please advice on the following,

1. Should I apply for health card in ON now, I am planning to come back in May, 2012 to settle permanently.

2. should I deposit the drafts for POF in a bank account and with draw as am going back immediately.

If I do not deposit the entire POF in a Canadian bank account, will it be a problem, or cause delay in getting PR Cards

whn u apply for health card u need to submit the rental contract. so in 5 days if u dont take a apartment for rent u cant apply.

there is no connection now between ur POF deposit and PR card processing, but i always advice to keep some money here whn u return

Hi, i second BIJU !!

For Ontario health card, you will have to show residential ties of 90 days in Ontario. Means you have to be there for more then 3 months. Depositing or withdrawing is all up to you. You can even bring back the draft, no need to deposit and get it cancelled from your issuing bank.
