Actually I tried filling online application twice for extract .Each time while paying fees it goes back to home webpage .

Can I reapply with a new application number ?

I already have 3 application number but fees is pending .

If you look at my experience I am suggesting people just go to rto directly and get it done. It is simpler that way

Apply online for the DL extract and its better to get the latest chip card. It works perfectly fine without any issues here in Ontario. Apply online here very fast and easy :- https://parivahan.gov.in/sarathiservice8/envaction.do

Yes, your chip card would not matter for much in this context

No need to seal it, just carry it like any other document

My wife has her DL issued in 2003 (Before Marriage) without surname and from different city (Parents Address). Is it okay, if we add the surname in that DL only and procure extract with the old address on it or do we need to take NOC from there and get it issued from our home town with current address and with husband name.

I got my extract from Delhi about a year back but didn't know about the 6 month timeline for G1. When I got it earlier, it had a sign and stamp on it - although it says at the bottom "Computer generated letter doesn't require signature". No QR code was present. But I was able to print it online again today on the Sarathi website. This version does not have the signature but has a QR code at the bottom. Will it work?

I have a chip dl based in new delhi. My issue is i have arrived in canada without an extract.
Is it possible that my i apply extract online by following all the requiredsteps and my friend can go and just collect the extract on my behalf?

i am out of india at the moment and I have applied for the DL extract online and paid the fees too and it says it is being processed at the RTO level. Would this be processed or is it mandatory for me or someone to go to the respective RTO to have it approved and issued? mine is a non chip DL but it has all the details in the sarathi website.
