So, what's next guys? Shall we expect the next draw in 2 weeks or other?
And what is interesting, that they didn't mention it as the 24th draw, looks that they began to count again?
Quite terrifying is the giant yellow 'decline invitation' button right underneath 'continue application'. Going to be super careful clicking into that for the next little while!
Only time will tell what happens....But, watching the EE system since May 2015, I wouldn't be surprised if the CRS points remain static at 460...Can only hope they drop soon
I believe CIC is going to follow the same pattern of 2015.
They gained complete insights on its ability to process different types of EE applications based on the experiences from 2015 EE applications.
CIC should now make the stats public, as they released the Mid year July 15 report which had all the CRS stats that provided the insight
CIC can publish this stats after every draw, which will help the candidates know where they stand in the pool.
The figures shared for immigration targets for 2015 was approx 180,000 - 200,000.
In 2015, 23 draws; approximately 35000 ITA's were released. The figures imply that the immigration targets was not achieved? Even half.
Well, we are all guessing. We don't know the total no of Provincial nominees, Job offers and the breakup CEC, FSW etc and the future policies.
All we know that the lowest CRS points 451 > were awarded ITA's.
I believe the same trend will continue in 2016, as there are no announcements. The first draw today is 461/ 1463 ITA would little less or more will continue.
Well, the lucky lot who worked hard to achieve 450 + deserve compliments.
Let's hope others with < 451 get an opportunity in future.
" During a webinar hosted by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on December 16, 2015, a CIC Policy Analyst made some important announcements regarding the short- and medium-term future of Express Entry."
“The number of invitations issued per round is expected to increase as the pre-Express Entry inventory of applications is finalised. In turn, it is expected that the minimum score of those that are invited to apply will drop,” she stated.
The Policy Analyst added that "we expect that in the new year when our rounds start growing — to meet our new levels plan — that the score will reduce."
