I recently got approved my permanent resident application in canada. I am planning to go canada, Manitoba driving my car. My car is new, I bought it a month ago and I donot have title. It was financed by Toyota. I will stay in canada just for couple days and will return back in USA. My question is can I take my car into Canada without title and it is not paid off.
Thank you,
What is your advise:
Can a quebec applicant land in toronto and give the Airport Immigration officers a friends address in toronto for PR card? or land in montreal but give a toronto address?
However i hold CSQ and a canadian visa, can i land in calgary, rather than Montreal, as i have friends there who are going to accomadate me.
waiting for your reply
thanks again

I am not qorax but I would like to answer. Yes your family can directly land at Calgary, no need for them to go to toronto, only condition is as a PA you have to be in Canada first. Thanks
Thanks for this post. This really helps.
I understand we can land anywhere except Quebec (which has few extra formalities)
However, i have one question - Can I complete my landing formalities in Toronto and give address of Montreal. The initial post from qorax says Address can be far from POE but does it have any restriction with Quebec?

Thanks for the info. I had applied under FSW. So I cannot give address of Montreal when I do the landing?..:-( I was planning to land in Toronto and stay at friends place in Montreal for some time and provide that adrress to get PR card.
Your family can land anywhere in Canada , but if you planning to move to Alberta, manitoba etc then I strongly sujjest your family to land directly there qs in that case they will be entitled for free medical from day one unlike in Ontario 90 days wait .
Have you got your sin number etc in Ontario ?
