Done my landing...Those that already have PR card...How long to wait?

Thanks I took exactly 70 days to print pr bc when I called cic call center on 70 day they told me its mailed today. So It took another 4 days to reach by canada post.

Ya. one my friend who also landed on 6june got his PR card today only. Expiy date is 14Aug, 2018. It means exaclty 69 days after you land they print your PR card and mail it on the very same day. Weird though.!

Why the heck they cant do this simple thing early. :-\

My wife landed June 15th and called CIC would said that it was in the mail as of August 23rd. Should be here in Winnipeg by the 27th.

Update from my last post below.
I re-sent photos and CIC received them on August 19.
I got PR card yesterday (August 29).......10 days!!!

Called CIC yesterday (after 75 days waiting), a nice lady said I need to retake photo and mail them to Sydney, Nova Scotia. Then, wait another 6 weeks.

NO.. they didn't update any thing on ECAS for PR card.

No. I did not travel. If you need to travel when you get your PPR, first get your visa, travel out of the country & land on your way back to Canada. That's what I did. In case you want to travel after landing without your PR card, you will need to apply for travel documents. I don't know how long it takes to get the travel document.

Thanks for reply, I couldn't find the info about processing time for travel document for permanent resident abroad.

Hi coshx,

I landed on June 27, 2013 and haven't received the PR card yet. I did phone the call center and as I was told to wait for 2 more weeks, and that the processing time specified is an approximate days. Hoping I would receive it sometime next week. If not, i'd have to call again.

Keep us posted if you receive your PR card.
