Hello All,

I am traveling to India for 2 months and was thinking of applying for renewal since my passport will be going to expire in 2025.

Queries:
1. I have already booked return tickets on my old passport number. if I renew my passport while in India, will that create any problem on my return flight?

2. I have three years of TRV stamp on my current passport, will I be required a new TRV stamp on my new passport?

P.S.: The reason I am asking is that with the help of TATKAL service in India, I can renew my passport within 2 weeks which alternatively could take 1-2 months if I applied within Canada. and also the cost of renewal is higher.
