I just received my ITA invitation under Canadian Experience Class on December 22nd. I still didn't accept or deny my application yet since I am getting married tomorrow and intention is to submit the application with my spouse added in the profile.
I know there is a 90 days timeline to submit the complete application. But is there any expiry date to accept (continue application) or decline the invitation? Please let me know as soon as possible.
You have 90 days from the date of ITA to submit the application. It expires in 90 days. If you let it expire, then you can't apply for Express entry anymore.
However, if you can't apply within 90 days for some reason, you can choose to decline the ITA and wait for the next draws. Depending on your CRS score, you may or may not get invited in the next draw. Also I believe your wife needs to meet certain eligibility requirements, and your score might change when you are adding her as a dependant on your application.
I just want to clarify that if you let the ITA expire, you must create a new Express Entry profile to apply again. It does not mean you can't apply for Express Entry ever again (just making it clear Krishna in case someone else reading this gets confused and panics)
If the candidate does not respond to the ITA (i.e., the candidate does not submit a complete APR within 90 calendar days of receiving the ITA and does not formally decline the ITA within this delay), the ITA will expire and the candidate will no longer be in the Express Entry pool. To re-enter the pool, the candidate must submit a new profile in their online account and be assessed for the MEC at that time
