If you are confident with your answer that they do verify job offers then do you know if a job offer of mine (which is genuine) to be a nanny in Canada for a family with 4 kids (1 in Kindergarten) where I could care for my own daughter at the same time would be considered legitimate and substantial by CIC to show re-establishment in Canada for an Outland Sponsorship done from overseas?
thanks
I don't know about BCguy, but I think that if they called to verify that you had been offered that job, it would definitely be "substantial" enough to show your intent to re-establish your residence in Canada. I don't see anything about it that should raise questions about "legitimacy".
Well, this is the first kind of good news I've had in a long time. I seem completely unable to get 'job offers' where I'm from in Canada as everyone I know is a civil servant or such. I don't know anyone who is in Human Resources and it is extremely difficult to get a 'job offer' when you don't know exactly when and if your spouse will get PR and when and if I will be actually arriving in Canada. Do I actually have to go through with the legitimate nanny 'job offer'? Or once we actually get here I can get to work finding a better paying job??
