Presently, I am working and staying in Detroit area on h1b and have my Canadian PR approved.
I want to know if I start to live in Windsor and do daily commute to my work location,
Do I need to inform my company?

1)Yes, you need to inform your company either to your manager or HR as you would be crossing the country on a daily basis and the border officials rarely would want to reach out to someone in your company to check on your job info( again remember this is very rare). But keeping them informed is a good idea.
2)No, if you are commuting to the same MSA, then NO.
