doctor sab i submited accademic IELTS with my application now my application is at final stage.i have also general ielts but i submit only accademic and they didnot ask me about general ielts
so dont worry about it and submit both of them

dr.haseeb i am dr.fraz from pakistan and we discuss it many time at this froum and many seniors are now in canada who submit both of them they just want to know that your ability on english.i am old member of this froum.you can check older posts of this froum which added by pioneer of froum.

With due respect Mr. fraz, rules have been changed.Amendment took place twice,once on 26 june2010, another in August 2010. Applicants who will apply after 26 june 2010, MUST submit GT IELTS. They MUST not submit academic IELTS and if they do their application will be returned. Check the lat version of booklet op6, it may clarify u.

Most of the May 2010 candidates having VO London didn't receive their 1st AOR .
Is this due to crowding of London office ,i tried to call them but couldn't satisfy myself.

Doc sac, If u have already filed your application before june 26,2010 then u can submit academic IELTS. But if u r planning to submit your application to CIO now, then u must submit GT IELTS.(check the latest changes that took place in Aug 2010).

yup. we are all waiting for updates. in my case, we are waiting for the first aor. with the timelines of the may applicants, we may get ours by 2nd or 3rd week of nov.
