Hi aamir,

Yes you are right they are waiving most of the interviews but you can say it was my hard luck that my name came up for the interview,,,Well here's what happened when i went for the interview firstly when i went in there was a lady sitting on the other side she was very polite and spoke nicely saying herself that "You must be wondering why you were called for the interview" i was surprised as i had it in my mind that i'll ask the same question at the end of interview..she said this was just a quality check my name was selected randomly from a list of files to check everything was in place meaning that everything i provided them with was authentic and in order and their way of waiving interviews with most of clients is a good thing or no..

Before the interview i was sent a mail to bring my original educational qualification documents, recent updated form showing my current status, recent bank statement and currents employers letter showing my job description in detail with the sighed contract letter and also last 3months pay slip.. So as ordered i went there fully loaded, some of my friend told me to take only these documents which were asked for nothing else should be in my possession, but i went in with everything i had with me,,,My experience says if you people are ever called for an interview(which i hope shall be waived) take along everything you have shown in your documents request..her 1st question was for me to show her my educational documents which i did,,then she asked for reference letters from my current employer, contract letter and pay slip..It would be good if you get at least 2reference letter from your employer stating you are working with them,a letter from head of dept on his letter pad and a letter from the admin would be enough,if your contract letter is not stamped or notarized then do it as i did that mistake and suffered, most hospitals don't provide payslips now a days so salary certificate will suffice there, then i gave my bank statement which she didn't look at and said i don't need that....then she started scanning my previous form and asked me that i had mentioned that i had worked in a previous hospitals do i have the documents with me,i was surprised at this and thankful that i had brought every document with me..one by one she started counting the dates and checking all the documents and going checking everything in detail,I was missing one document as i had mentioned in the form working there as a Pg but never got the document from the hospital, when i asked i said i don't have it so she said i will not count it as your experience,i said leave it as i thought and my points were more then enough even if she don't count it as my experience but i was wrong..then she started scanning my passport for the dates of exit and entry from the places i visited remember this should not contradict with the dates mentioned in the documents you provide as they are very keen and count and catch even the slightest mistake...In the end she asked me about my recent job description what i mostly do,which i briefed her..The interview was overall of about 15-20mins again i don't no what clicked her she asked me to let my all documents with her so she can verify few and come back and get them at 2pm.. i knew she won't be able to verify everything but she must want to consult a senior or another person with...so i went out and was back by 2pm my name was again called, once i was in she greeted me politely and said that everything was fine I'm just sending your reference letters and contract letter to your VO now you'll be contacted by him or her..for which i didn't hesitate and said OK..
Later on after one month I got another letter saying that your current employers letter and the other hospital which i didn't have the documents are not credible and the VO is not satisfied so I have 30days to address his concerns otherwise my application may be rejected due to this.
i was confused and worried so again I got letters from my employers, salary certificate of recent date and notarized my contract letter, even got the copies of documents submitted on interview date verified from my employer,,also got the document from the other documents and sent them to CIC with my fingers crossed, you can call it my hard luck again after 1month another letter popped up saying my medicals which i had done on 30th Dec never reached them,so i had to give them name of the place and doctor who had conducted my medicals,as they are designated doctors of CIC they can be contacted and asked about my medicals by them only..Then bingo on 3rd June i got the final letter for my passport request, finally a dream come true..

After my experience from all the procedure, remember if interviewed be confident in everything you say never think that the person interviewing you don't no anything about you as she/he will act as if unaware about your file or case but they usually study your case b4 they bring you in and she also has a copy of all your previous documents you have submitted,in my interview she was again and again looking and clicking on a computer which faced her ,,my guess was of the scans of the documents of my documents which i had given..i even was in contact with people who had interview on the same day, some were not asked anything only few documents like educational and work exp..specially those with family and children were spared a bit but many had to go through what i did, almost all of us who were interviewed got there ppr finally after a delay but every1 is through,Some nationalities do have the benefits of belonging from a place that after interviews they had no delay at all and few like us did have to wait..Remember my fellow colleagues never ever submit a fake document.

Although not an expert As being experienced from the detailed process am always there to help my fellow doctors about the documents, patterns and any other advise will be morethen willing to share my experience,Didn't receive my passport yet but expecting in coming or 2nd week..Plan to land in mid Sept..

WISH YOU ALL THE BEST.

Thanks Dreamer for sharing ur experience.
Really helpful for us...
