I applied November 2023 and today I finally got the golden email to reschedule

Did you try rescheduling by yourself prior to getting the email. What is your initial appointment date ?

Yes I’m getting the same system is busy but from what I’ve read in the past, we should be able to reschedule within a week.

Yes. When I first applied I got 2026 then I kept looking and got dec 2025

I applied on September 25th 2024 and got Dec 10 2026 as appointment date but I was able to reschedule yesterday to Feb 6 2026. I am hoping to reschedule again to 2025 , hopefully lol .

Anyone got the reschedule email and got available slots in Toronto? Earliest would be July 2024. Vancouver seem to have slots in October and November but that’s way to far for me.

I'm thinking, I did accidently wrong visa class select in my DS-160 form. What's the difference between 1. BUSINESS & TOURISM (TEMPORARY VISITOR) (B1/B2) and 2. TOURISM/MEDICAL TREATMENT (B2). Mine is TOURISM/MEDICAL TREATMENT (B2). I didn't receive any email for early appointment. Its been 6 months after submit form and payment.
I'm thinking about change to first one. Is this possible change my visa class to first one after a payment has been made on appointment service website?

I applied November 2023 so it took me 10 months to get the reschedule email. Before I got the email I had Jan 2026 then I was able to reschedule to dec 2025. When I got the email I was able to get October 2024. Best time was 7pm sharp for me (EDT)

I received an email to reschedule my appointment to an earlier date in 2024, which I did for myself and my daughter. However, when I tried to reschedule my husband's appointment, his dates are still showing as 2026. He is the main applicant and received the emails on his email address. An agent separated him from the family group and rescheduled his appointment earlier, but he still got 2026. I'm wondering if we can reschedule my husband's appointment. We just received this email today. Does this email have an expiry date?
