Do you know if it is worth it to check for earier appointments? Or should we just wait for the email.
I heard they no longer release earlier slots so perhaps just wait for email. It's a rumour though but over the past several months with intense checking I have not seen early slots at all so that may be right. Fingers crossed they can expedite the rescheduling.

I applied my niece on August 18, 2023, and she received a qualification letter to reschedule from GDIT Visa Appointment Service Team on June 20, 2024 (so that's 10 months), and she was able to reschedule it on August 02, 2024 so that would be next week from the original schedule of July 02, 2025.
Right now we are waiting for my nephew's email as well as he applied on February 2024 but I am assuming now that it's 10 months to wait, so we'll wait till December 2024.

Hello, I applied for a US visa using the Visa Waiver Program and submitted my documents on July 3rd or 4th. However, I didn't receive any updates or status changes until July 18th, when I saw that my application had been received. Two days later, I checked again and saw that my status had been updated to 'Approved'. Then, yesterday, it changed to 'Issued'. What does this mean? Is my visa complete and stamped without an interview, or do I still need to worry that I might be required to attend an interview before receiving my passport? The current status is 'Issued', and I've been told that my passport will be delivered within 10 days.

Hi everyone,

I submitted my application for a B1/B2 visa in January 2024 and booked an appointment for July 2025. Today (July 30, 2024), I received an email stating that I can reschedule my appointment to an earlier date. However, when I log in, no appointments are available. Two questions:
1-Will new slots open for me? If so, what should I do to avoid the "system is busy. please try again later" error?
2-If I don't reschedule to an earlier time and wait for two months (as I need to renew my passport), will I lose this rescheduling opportunity? Is this option available for only a limited time?

Thanks.
